Dojang Rules

  1. Bow upon entering and leaving the Dojang.
  2. When you see your Master, you must always bow to him.
  3. You must always respect your Master when asking and answering questions.
  4. When fixing your uniform or belt, face away from your instructor and the flags.
  5. Do not teach other students without the Master’s permission.
  6. No horse play, whistling or loud talking in the Dojang.
  7. Respect all senior belts.
  8. Always get the permission of the Master or senior instructor to leave class for a break, to get a drink of water, or to leave.
  9. Students should keep their fingernails and toenails clipped and clean at all times.
  10. Never lean on the walls, or lay spread out on the floor.
  11. Telephone the school if you are going to be late or absent.
  12. No gum chewing in class.
  13. No profanity will be used in class by anyone, at any times, regardless of rank.
  14. No jewelry is to be worn during class.
  15. Keep your uniform clean at all times.
  16. NEVER lose your temper in the Dojang, especially while sparring.
  17. Always keep in mind that you are being taught a martial art.  Treat it with respect, and above all, never misuse it.
  18. Practice discipline, especially while training.
